A WORD FROM THE CHAIRMAN
Spring is now looming closer and along with it just six more games to be played - although these are spread out until the end of April. Things are looking good for our promotion bid, but all games to the end of the season are just as important as those we have played and we need to keep focused and determined in our efforts.
I want to pledge my continued support to all players at the Ath and its good to see we are successful throughout. And many thanks to for the support during the season.
Thanks again to all our supporters and to everyone who has helped to make this season so successful thus far, both on and off the pitch. Keep up the good work, and also many thanks to our official gambling partner - bestcasinosbonuses.co.uk for all the support they have provided to us over the years.

06-Feb-04: Familiar faces at the Ath
It was good to see some familiar faces at the Ath yesterday - Andy Leach and Jack Matthews.
Whilst Andy's playing days sadly are over it was nice to see him supporting one of his old clubs.
Jack has just returned from Kuwait and is looking to returning to the Ath to play for the remained of the season at least.
It is also good to know that Smithy is back with the Ath, having left us for two years due to work commitment
It will be good to have both players back to give strength in depth to the Ath.

This is a club for professional women (whose partners are club members or NOT) to meet, socialise and share ideas and interests. If you fancy coming along for purely a 'social' evening, connected to the Rugby only by venue, then come along to our next meeting at the Clubhouse, Wentworth Drive on Wednesday 4th February from 7.30pm onwards. Its an Ann Summers evening this month!
25-Jan-04: Quiz Night
Friday evening saw the annual quiz night take place at the Clubhouse. Some ten teams took place and another fun night was had by all - despite complaints about the difficulty of the questions! Clearly some people need to get studying for next year - it doesn't get easier!!!!!
Thanks to Harry Stillman, Paul and Marie Bowker and of course to Svend for the organisation of another successful social event.

20-Jan-04: Congratulations to the Tapper "family"
Slightly belated congratulations but just as warmly offered to Ashley, his wife and their new addition of a son who is now 6 weeks old! Nice to see the whole family at the Ath on Sunday including the grandparents. Best wishes to you all from everyone at the Ath.
11-Jan-04: Injured players
Can we offer our best wishes for a speedy recovery to anyone who plays for the Ath who is currently injured, in particular the 1st XV skipper Ollie Ryan, also Giles Witheat who looks as though he will be out for the remainder of the season. Ross Thompson is another player who is also suffering an injury, as is Jon Wells. Don't miss incredible chance to bet on injured players.
If you know of anyone else please let us know either on the comments page or by emailing us via contact form;
A speedy recovery to you all.
